- [Narrator] Sometimes you have a vocal that's pitchy enough that it sticks out of the track. But you really don't have the time to spend tuning it. Here's a way to not only cover up that out of tune sound but make the vocal thicker at the same time as well. First of all let's have a listen. Listen to the vocal. Let's not too bad. It's a little pitchy but not terrible. But what we can do is use a couple of interesting pitch changing effects that will cover it up. So the first thing we're going to do is go to something called the Ultra Channel. Put this in stereo. And this is by Eventide. Eventide were the people that invented the harmonizer. And the harmonizer was a really cool tool for covering things up. The first ones are mono. We use two of them and that was the H 910 and we tune one up nine cents and tune another one down nine cents.
