- [Narrator] Even with small projects, you're going to need help keeping track of project information. There are lots of software options to choose from. If your projects and software budget are both really small, you can make due with the tools you already have: word processing, spreadsheets, and email. For example, you can add tasks with their dates and assigned resources to columns in a spreadsheet. Word processing programs are perfect for many documents you create, whether your project is small or large. With this approach, be sure to keep files where everyone on your team can get to them.
