- [Ayodele] I have no doubts that you've noticed the recent technology boom. Some advancements have been very visible, like self-driving cars or robots that can vacuum your floor. Others, not so much, like suggestions of what to type in that next email or better filtering of your junk mail. All these things, no matter how subtle, utilize machine learning. In this course, I'll guide you through the theory and development of fundamental algorithms in supervised learning that are used frequently in industry. We'll discover how to prepare data for machine learning, fit our models, and evaluate the performance of our models. This course isn't meant to be incredibly technical, but you'll be coding in Python and using Jupyter notebooks to run your machine learning models. Hi, I'm Ayodele Odubela, I work as a data scientist, which means I build, evaluate and productionize machine learning models. This course is great for beginners who are interested in ML but may not have any hands-on experience coding these algorithms, so let's get to it. (gentle music)
