What you need to know
- Before getting started with this course, you want to have a basic working knowledge of programming in Python. Although we will review the aspects of the language that are essential to any data analysis task, I will not teach you about every feature of Python that we will meet. It will also be helpful to have an understanding of basic mathematical and statistical concepts, for example logical operations, functions, averages, minima and maxima. If you are familiar with these topics I recommend you start with beginner level Python and statistics courses in the library or with a textbook that suits your learning style.
