What you should know
- [Instructor] While this course is designed as an accessible introduction to the field of data mining, it works best if there are a few things you already know. The first thing is that you should already be familiar with the Python programming language and the Jupyter Notebooks in the Anaconda environment. If you'd like some help getting up to speed on those, I recommend that you take a look at the course Introducing Jupyter, as well as Python for Data Science Essential Training Parts 1 and 2. In addition, it's helpful if you're familiar with basic statistical concepts. If you'd like a refresher, I'd recommend the course Data Fluency: Exploring and Describing Data, as well as several other courses available in our online learning library.
