Adding elements
- [Narrator] Inserting elements such as scale bars and legends make a print layout a powerful map making tool. Custom elements such HTML iframes and images can also be added. Let's create a new print layout now. In my project, click new print layout. We'll call it map layout. First thing we're going to do is add an item, a map. So let's draw the map here, it'll use the default map in the background with the same scale. And we may want to make that a little bigger, and I can actually zoom in a little, so what we can do is in the item properties, there's a button here called interactively edit map extent. And we can certainly do that. And that allows me to zoom and pan within my print layout. So let's set this up so it looks like that. There we go. And then we'll stop interactively using that. The next thing I want to add is the legend. So I'll put the legend right here. So you can see we've got buildings, parcels…
