Polyline layers

- [Instructor] Lime layers such as roads and pipe can be styled as simply as a solid line to as complex a line made up of a combination of various line types. We're going to try that now. Lets add the roadcenterlines.shp file to our current session. Click okay and by default, the road center lines came in with a arbitrary color, in this case, red. So if we double click on road center lines, we can go in and change the colors. So under symbology, you can see it was red. Lets change that to black. So I'll just switch that to black, hit apply and you can see that our road center lines are now black. Lets go back in and we'll change the width of the black to say 0.8 and then we'll hit okay and it's a little bit fatter. You can see the lines are a lot fatter now. Now you'll notice that where they meet each other, sometimes you get some overlap and hooking so lets go back in and fix that. Some neat tools we can use if we…
