Project properties, part 1

- [Instructor] The project properties within your project or QGIS file said items such as name, background color and possibly some of the most important option is setting the coordinate system of your project, but you could also set that within the interface. Let's look at some of the project properties. Well, before we begin and we have to make a project. So, let's add a couple layers maybe the parcels and hit OK and the buildings. And let's just save our project, so, we'll go Project, Save and we'll just put it to our desktop and just call it nanaimo, N-A-N-A-I-M-O, nanaimo. And so, we now have a project called nanaimo and let's go into the project properties, so, Project, Properties. Under the General, we can see where the file is stored. The project home is basically the default place where to find all the files that make up this project. So, we could use the same desktop folder or we could even use our project…
