Thematic layers, part 2
- [Instructor] Let's create a combination of both. I'm going to create a third thematic with the same pipes layer. So I'm going to drag it in, we're going to just call it Pipes. We're going to double-click on it. In this case, we're going to use a categorized symbol, so we're actually going to choose on Type. And we're going to just use random colors. And we'll say Classify, it'll bring in all the different types there are. You'll notice that there's one says All Other Values. That means if there's any data in there that are not classified or don't have a type, they'll just be gray. So let's hit OK. And now we'll see the classified. Now this is no different than Pipes by Classification or by Type. But let's go back in and change the diameter. So what I can do, I can change the symbol type. And where it says Width, I can change the units to map units, so whatever the width is, is going to be units on the ground, so…
