Track nonbillable time

- [Narrator] To track employees non-billable work hours a little additional setup is required. Services for the non-billable work people do and an expense account for that work. Once you have those elements in place, you can use them and timesheets, just like items for billable time. We're going to start up at the top right. Click the settings gear and choose Products and services. Then at the top right of the Products and Services screen click New and choose Service. I'm going to create a service that's called "Customer service" so I can track the time people spend on this. In the category I'm going to set up a category for "Overhead". So I type that in, then click Add Overhead and click Save. Now this is not being sold to customers so I'm going to turn off that check box. Then I have the check box for purchasing, and I want to keep that turned on. The cost can be zero because if you're just tracking time and don't pay…
