Creating a surface in AutoCAD Civil 3D

- [Instructor] Once your ReCap photo project is complete, and you've downloaded the files locally on your computer, you can then unzip some of those files and use them in Civil 3D. In this case, on our desktop we have a 3D_DISHES folder. I want to unzip the .rcs and the .tif zip files. So I'll right click on the .rcs folder and say Extract All. I'm just going to let it go back into the same folder. Click Extract. And you will see there's a new folder called 3D_DISHES.rcs with a mesh file in there. The next thing we're going to do is unzip the 3D_DISHES.tif Extract All. Extract. And now you can see we've got a mesh_ortho and a mesh_dem. We have two folders that I've unzipped from our ReCap project directory. There's a .rcs and a .tif First we're going to add this rcs mesh to our Civil 3D. Let's go into Civil 3D, and before we start, we should set the coordinate system. So the coordinate system is UTM so we're going to type the command will be ADESETCRDSYS. Set coordinate system. And…
