ReCap vs. ReMake
- [Instructor] Autodesk currently has two different software titles that process photo scans, and I'll be showing you the scan processing workflow in both. You pick the software that is right for you. ReCap is desktop software, but the photo to scan feature utilizes a web-based interface, so you may be able to use it on a variety of platforms. You can process both laser and photo scans with this software and incorporate the resulting mesh data with other software from Autodesk. Now ReMake also uses a desktop-based interface to process photo scans. And while we won't be covering them in this course, ReMake has a handful of tools for mesh repair and analysis that you might find useful. Choose the best software for you or try them both.
