Touching up UV maps

- [Instructor] In this video we'll explore another way to touch up color with Photoshop by editing UV maps. Now up until now we really haven't talked about the components that make up our full color mesh. You might have noticed that when you exported your files from Meshmixer there were a bunch of different files. In addition to the obj we also have these image files. Now take a look at the 3D panel in Photoshop. You can see that we have these five texture maps. These are all flat image files that are stretched over our mesh and we can edit and touch up those flat files. Alright, let's zoom out. We'll go up to the Move tool so we can see our whole lion head. Now click on the individual texture maps in the 3D panel. You can see which maps are associated to what part of our model. Let's take a closer look at texture map number one and up in the properties panel I want you to go to Diffuse and then choose Edit Texture. That will open the png file for us to edit.
