Uploading to Shapeways
- [Instructor] We're almost done. In this video we'll upload our scan to Shapeways, and order a 3D print. To get started, click "Upload". Now if you don't already have credentials for Shapeways, now is the time to join. I'm going to choose "Sign In", enter my Username and Password, click "Sign In". Click "Upload" one more time. I'll select our file. Let's navigate to our Exercise Files, Chapter five, where we saved our FinalLion. Now, note that this is a zip file. In that zip file, we have a .wrl file, and all of our included UV maps. Click Open. And then "Upload". We'll wait a few minutes while the model uploads, and Shapeways runs its initial tests for printability. Our lion head has finished uploading. In the preview panel, we can rotate and zoom in, to get a good look. Then the last thing we need to do is, scroll down to the bottom. These are the list of various materials. And we want to make sure that for Full Color Sandstone, that our model has passed both the initial checks…
