- [Instructor] In this video I'm gonna look at the Annotation tools that we can use in a ReCap project, so we can measure distances, angles, and we can add notes. So, of course one of the big advantages of having a point cloud is unlike measuring by hand where you have to remember each and every measurement that you want to take and make sure you capture all of those at the time when you're out in the field, with a point cloud you can measure any distance any time, even after the fact, from the comfort of your office. So, let's go ahead and take a look at the tools that we have available, so there's a little fly out down here, and what I'm gonna do is just sort of pan over slightly just to put those icons on a darker part of my background here so we can see them better. So, there's three tools, right. We've got Angles, Distances, and Notes. So, let's start with Distances. Now, this will default to the Freehand distance, which is just literally pick two points.
