Configuring scanner settings
- [Instructor] In this video I thought I'd talk a little bit about the impact of the settings you choose at the time of scan. So this could actually make a big difference not only in the amount of time it takes you to capture a scan, but also the kind of quality that your gonna get. Now the values that I'll be sharing with you are based on a Faro scanner, cause that's the scanner that we had access to when I captured all of the files that I'll be sharing with you. But I suspect that most of these settings are similarly named in other scanning devices. So your device might call these things something slightly different but it should be the same general factors that are in play when your trying to decide what your optimal scans are.
