Limit boxes and view states

- [Instructor] In this video I wanna talk about limit boxes. A limit box is a tool that you can use to crop the point cloud down to just a small area. So if you wanna focus your attention on a certain area, and not display any of the other points that are outside of that limit box, then that's the tool that you use to achieve that. Now a limit box is a box that has length, width, and height, and you can interactively change the dimension of each of the sides of the box. You can also rotate the limit box, so that it more accurately matches the surrounding geometry. And then finally, we can actually save not only the limit box, but the vantage point in the model, so that we're preserving our original view, so that we can easily get back there. So for example, I'm standing here at my default position looking into the courtyard in this nice perspective view. So maybe I wanna preserve that before I do any work with my limit box.
