Add PWA to Chrome
- [Instructor] We're going to serve up our build folder and take a look at it on local host 5,000. Now notice here that I am in normal mode on Chrome, I'm not logged in with an incognito window or a guest window or anything. That's important because we're going to install this app, we're going to install our progressive web app using this Chrome browser tool. So if you click on the three dots in the upper right hand corner of your browser and scroll down almost two thirds of the way down, you're going to see this option called install art videos for fun and learning. That's our app. So I'm going to go ahead and click install. This will ask me if I should install the app. We see that it's been added to the Chrome apps here in the applications window. That's less important to me than our actual Chrome applications so if you open up a new tab, this will give you your typical Google home screen. In the upper left hand corner is the option to select apps and oh man, how exciting is this…
