- [Instructor] In this video, I'm actually going to create a sample instrument using the NN-XT advanced sampler. This is a thing that people ask about all the time. Why can I only hear it in one earphone? So I wanna go up to the hardware interface here, and click the audio IO, and I'm gonna turn on the auto sample monitor, and I'm gonna flip my rack around, and since I have just one mic plugged into one input on my audio interface, which is the left input, I'm going to disconnect the right input. So now we'll have a mono signal in the center of the stereo image, instead of just a signal in the left side of the stereo image. And again, if you find yourself doing a lot of sampling like this with this kind of setup, you might wanna save this as the template file that opens every time you open Reason. And without further ado, let's bring in the NN-XT advanced sampler. First thing I will do is reset the device so that we are starting with a blank slate, and I will unfold this fancy remote…
