Pitch and vocal synth effects with Neptune
- [Narrator] The Pitch Editor in Reason Nine is a great way to deal with vocal pitch issues or any instrument pitches that need to be adjusted, but there's another way to deal with vocal pitch in Reason that's pretty cool and it's a little bit different kind of work-flow, or play-flow. So, I'm gonna go to the Effects and grab Neptune. And now it is inserted in our vocal track, and I used just a little bit of the vocal that we worked on previously in the course with the Pitch Editor, and again, this is the raw, uncorrected vocal. - ♪ There's no reason ♪ - [Narrator] But now it's going through Neptune, and right now Neptune isn't doing very much because the scale is set for chromatic. So, any note, right or wrong, is fair game. It'll work better if I know what key this song is, and I do know, it's in A major. So, let's go to A major.
