Using the ReGroove Mixer
- [Instructor] One powerful tool in Reason that we haven't talked much about is the ReGroove Mixer. Earlier in the course, we did see it for a moment, as it applies to shuffle buttons on certain devices, such as ReDrum. So I've programmed a simple beat into ReDrum that sounds pretty robotic, let's just hear it. (rhythmic drumming) And then, if we turn on shuffle... (rhythmic drumming) And the amount of shuffle that's applied is controlled in the ReGroove Mixer. Here's the button we use to launch the ReGroove Mixer. (rhythmic drumming) Turning up the global shuffle amount. Turning it down. But the ReGroove Mixer can do so much more. Turn off that shuffle and turn off the pattern section, and let's see some sequencer here. We're going to copy pattern to track. Okay, so now I have the MIDI information here for those drum hits.
