(upbeat music) - [Instructor] You've now come to the end of the local storage chapter. The local storage challenge will test your knowledge and understanding of what you've learned. For this scenario, a server in your infrastructure will get two new hard drives, which you'll need to create one formatted volume out of that will be available automatically at boot. Let's look at the details of this challenge. You will need to add two new drives to your VM. If necessary, you can delete the RHS 2 VM if you don't have enough free space as we won't be using it again. You will then need to create partitions on both drives before making them physical devices for use with LVM. Next you'll need to create a volume group including both devices. You'll then carve up the volume group with at least one logical volume. To make the logical volume useful you'll need to format it with one of the more recent file systems.
