Challenge: Web services private site
(word whooshing) (electronic music) - [Instructor] For this challenge we'll be focusing on a private web server in a non-standard location on rhhost1. You will create document root directory at /var/privatesite. You will manage all user and group permissions of this directory. The web server will need to continue to function after a restorecon or filesystem relabel. You will create an index.html file for this site. You will only allow authconfig overrides in this directory. You will create Basic Auth password protection of this site, which will only allow user1 to access it. Set the password as you wish. Opening a web browser and entering rhhost1.localnet.com/privatesite should prompt you for a username and password, which if correct, will only allow user1 to view the index.html file.
