- [Instructor] In the beginning of this course you should have downloaded the exercise files zip archive under your rh host one VM and extracted it to your home directory. The directory for this chapter will contain various ldif files. In a terminal change into the chapter five directory and then list it by typing in LS. If you don't have these files, you'll need to download and extract them before continuing. You can use these files as a basis for setting up your own LDAP server as long as you change the relevant names and passwords where applicable. Let's start by creating the database using the db dot ldif file. These ldif files are plain text so you can read them if you wish using any text viewer like cat. Type in clear then type in cat space db dot ldif and hit enter. This file changes the administrators' distinguished name and sets a password. The password in this file is the word…
