Configure VM virtual graphics cards and terminals

- [Instructor] After installation, we can change our guest VM to boot into the graphical interface using the virtual machine manager, GUI. This requires us to add a virtual graphics card to the virtual machine. Let's use the CentOS 8-KS virtual machine. If it's running right click it and select Shut Down and then wait for it to finish. To add a virtual graphics card, click on Open and then click on the light bulb on the toolbar. And then click on Add Hardware. If you can't see the button to the bottom, press the left windows key and drag the window up. Now click on Video. Make sure it says QXL and click on Finish. Now click on Add Hardware again. This time, click on Graphics make sure it says Spice server and then click on Finish. You may find that after booting up your mouse and keyboard don't work. Let's take care of that now and add a USB keyboard and mouse. Click Add Hardware again, but this time click on Input and then change the type to Generic USB keyboard and click on Finish. Then click on Add Hardware one more time. Click on Input again and this time choose Generic USB Mouse and click on Finish. Now click on the console button and click on the Power button to start the VM up. Now if you go into the View menu and down to Text Consoles you should see both Serial 1 and Graphical Console Spice. You can switch between them using this menu. Since this is the VM we installed by Kickstart we haven't accepted the license on the graphical interface. Do that now and continue booting until you can log in as user1. (keyboard typing) And now we have a working VM.
