- [Instructor] We need to create a new user now. Once again, ensure that you're in your chapter five, exercise files directory on your RH host one VM. The user we create here is the person who will authenticate from rh host two. I've provided a file called RH user dot ldif for creating this user. For this video we will load it directly but you can use it as a template to create other users just by editing it. Before we load it, let's look at the contents. Type in cat space rh user dot ldif and hit enter. Here we can see the user specific such as user ID, username, home directory, et cetera. Now let's load this file. Type in clear and then type in sudo space, ldap add, space dash X, space dash capital W, space dash capital D, space double quote, cn equals ldap adm comma, dc equals local net comma, dc equals com double quote space dash F space rh user dot ldif and hit enter.
