Install Enterprise Linux on a physical machine

- [Instructor] To install, CentOS Linux from a USB thumb drive plug it into the machine you want to install on and boot from it. You may have to go into the bios to choose to boot off the USB drive. However, you may also be able to press a hotkey to boot from the USB drive, just for this one, boot up. If you have successfully booted from the USB drive you should see this screen. Highlight Install CentOS Linux eight and hit Enter. You can choose the second option to test Install Media if you want, but this is mainly to test optical disc for errors. You don't usually have to do this for ISO images that reside on the hard drive. Now choose the language used during the installation and click on Continue. Now we see the installation summary screen where we'll configure, how the OS will be installed. Click on Time and Date and adjust the time and date as well as the time zone.
