Install and configure mail services

- [Instructor] To get started with Postfix we'll want to install it first. Just to make sure that sendmail is not installed we'll also attempt to uninstall it. Be sure you're logged into your RH west 1 VM, as user one, and have a terminal open. In the terminal type in sudo space yum space remove space sendmail, and hit Enter. Type in your password if prompted. If sendmail is installed, it will remove it now. Otherwise it will provide a warning message and return you to your prompt. Now let's install Postfix. Type in sudo space yum space install space -y space postfix, and hit Enter. If it's already installed we can proceed with the next command. Now let's make Postfix the default MTA. Type in clear, type in sudo space alternatives space --set space mta space /usr/sbin/sendmail.postfix and hit Enter. Now Postfix is installed and ready.
