Samba files

Samba files

- [Instructor] Although the overall workings of Samba, as well as its configuration file is more complex than NFS, there aren't too many files to remember. /etc/samba/smb.conf is the main Samba configuration file. /etc/samba/smbusers maintains Samba to Linux user mappings. /etc/sysconfig/samba stores Samba startup configuration. /var/lib/samba/private/smbpasswd holds Samba user passwords. The SMB passwords can be different than Linux passwords. And lastly, /var/log/samba is the location for Samba logs. We'll be using most of these files later in this course.
