Web services introduction
- [Instructor] This chapter covers web services using Apache. In this chapter, we cover the following topics. First we install and configure Apache. Then we manage SELinux for web services. Next we configure access control on directories using Apache's access control. We then configure group-managed content. This is useful if you have a group of people sharing the responsibility of managing a website's content. Next, we configure a virtual host. Then we configure a virtual host on a non-standard port. Our next exercise configures a secure virtual host. Lastly, we deploy a basic CGI application. Before you start, you might want to download and print the web cheat sheet included with this chapter.
