- [Instructor] To put our ceilings in on the front porch, we need to go to our first floor ceiling plan. So under the Project Browser, under Ceiling Plans, find First Floor and double-click on First Floor. If we zoom in here, this is our front porch area. And I'd like to put a ceiling in, in this area as well as this area. The first step that we need to do is to go to the Architecture tab and then select on Ceiling. Underneath Properties, we can see that we have a few different ceilings available to us. But what we want to use is this Vinyl bead board, and I have it listed as being an exterior ceiling because it's a fairly typical kind of ceiling that you might see on a front porch. After selecting on the Vinyl bead board, we now need to set the elevation for that ceiling. For the level, we don't want it to be the first floor, we want it to go up to the top of plate. And we also want it to be offset from that top of plate, negative one foot four inches, so that it happens to be at the…
