Adding curtain walls

at the third type of wall family, the curtain wall. Now, curtain walls can actually be configured to be driven by type properties or you can actually customize them at an instance-by-instance level. So, in this video, I'm going to focus pretty much exclusively on the type settings of the curtain wall. All right, to get started, I'm going to draw a new curtain wall, Remember that a curtain wall is just a wall family. So, if you go to the Wall command, open up your type selector, scroll down, eventually you will see the curtain wall family, and there are three types. So, I'm going to use the storefront for this example because, of the three, that's the one that has the most type-driven properties, and that's what I want to focus on right now. So, I'm going to start out here in empty space, click a point, and drag this thing maybe about 65 hundred millimeters wide.
