Adding levels

and modify some levels. Levels are horizontal datum elements that represent key heights within your building project. So one of the simplest things that you can do is I always like to tell people, think about the buttons on an elevator, and for every button you have on an elevator, you would want to have a level there. since they run parallel to the ground plane, we can't actually work on levels in a floor plan. So if we look over here on the datum panel you'll notice that the Level button is grayed out. So what you do is you simply switch to an elevation or a section view, and that will allow you to see and work on the levels. So I'm going to double click the South Elevation here, and since this file was created from the DefaultMetric template it only has these two levels in it, Level 1 and Level 2, and they're 4,000 millimeters apart.
