Adding a new phase
- [Instructor] Most projects start with a template that contains just two phases, existing and new construction. And while that's appropriate for many projects, there will certainly be times when you want to either manipulate those existing phases or even create new ones. So you can do both things in the Phases dialog. We get there on the Manage tab and the Phases button right here. Now, we're going to focus on the first tab in this dialog, the Project Phases, and you can see the two that are currently available existing in new construction. And notice that the order they're in, existing is the earlier phase and it's at the top of the list because here it says past, and then new construction is at the bottom of the list because it's in the future. So keep that in mind if you decide to add any additional phases. So for example, let's say that I click anywhere in new construction and then I want to add a new phase…
