Adding symbols
- [Instructor] In addition to dimensions, tags and texts, we also use all sorts of symbols on architectural drawings. So if you want to add symbols to your drawing to call out certain items, you can use the Symbol tool to do this. So I'm going to go to the Annotate tab. And we can locate the Symbol tool over here on the right. Now in this file, I've only got two symbols currently loaded. I've got a Centerline symbol and a North Arrow. So let's go ahead and place each of these. I'll do the Centerline symbol, and I'll just sort of place it up here somewhere. And then the North Arrow, I'll choose one of the two. You can choose whichever one you want. And I'll place that down below the plan, over here. Now I'm going to zoom in on the upper portion of the plan where I placed that Centerline. Select it, go to Rotate, rotate it 90 degrees. So I'll just type 90 in the Angle field here and press Enter. And then kind of move this with the little control handle right about there next to this…
