Adding symbols

- [Instructor] In addition to text and dimensions, there are lots of other architectural symbols that we frequently include in our documentation, and in this video I wanted to show you the symbol tool and how we can access many of those generic annotations that we might want to add to our various views. Now I'm going to continue working in a floor plan, but you can add symbols to any view that you like. So let's start with the symbol tool, we'll get there on the annotate tab, and it's over here on the right-hand side, simply called symbol. Now when I click that tool, you'll see that over here on the type selector, there are two families currently loaded, there's a center line family and a north arrow. So what I'm going to do is add one of each of these, so the center line I'm just going to place above the plan, kind of generically in that location there, and I'm going to use north arrow one, and kind of place that down right here.
