- [Instructor] In this video we're going to create some ceilings. Now the ceiling tool has two creation modes, there's a automatic ceiling mode and a sketch mode. So we're going to look at both of them, now let me show you first one of the common mistakes that gets made when you first run the ceiling command, even if you've been doing it for a while sometimes it's easy to make this mistake. So you go to the architecture tab and you click the ceiling button, and what I'll do is I'll come over here and show you that there's a couple different types that we can choose from, so I'm going to focus on the compound ceiling here and there's three different types, so I've got one here 600 by 1200 grid, so that looks like a pretty good choice, and then maybe I want to place that here in this office. Well, automatic ceiling is turned on right here, which means that all I have to do is move my mouse into this office and it highlights it in red, and I go wow, that looks pretty good, and I click…
