- [Instructor] Let's draw a staircase off of our back deck area, and we can do that by being in the first floor plan. So under the project browser under floor plans, make sure the first floor is selected. Click inside of your view and then spin the wheel of the mouse so that you've zoomed into this area. What we want is to have a staircase that comes off of our deck from about this point out to here, comes across, and turns back, and then stops somewhere around here. So to accomplish that, we can come up here to the Architecture tab. Then the next thing that we need to do is select on Stair. There will be an option here for a location line. Come up here to the Exterior Support Left Side. That's going to be the direction, on the left-hand side of the staircase, that we'll be drawing this stair. So select Exterior Support Left. For the Actual Run Width, three foot is correct. If you have a different number, highlight in here and then type in how wide you want your staircase to actually…
