Creating floor plans for presentations
- [Instructor] Other than renderings, there is another way that you can create a presentation-like material, from your Revit model. And that is by creating a presentation floor plan. To begin with, underneath the project browser, go to the floor plans and then highlight your first floor. Right-click on your first floor view and now we want to duplicate this view. And we just want to do just a normal duplicate. So click on that duplicate. And what that did is it took away some of the text that shows up on our first floor view. The next thing that I want to do is rename this view that just got created. So I'm just going to right-click and go to rename. And I'll name it first floor presentation. The next thing that we'll do is get rid of anything that we really don't need to have inside of the presentation. Meaning things like our section tags. How do we get rid of the section tag? Well, start off by just selecting on it. Next, right-click, go to hide in view, and then hide that category…
