Creating a new family from a template
- [Narrator] This video, we're going to create a new piece of family content from a provided template. To do so I'm going to start here on the recent file screen and in the family's area right here I want to click the new button. That will take me to the new family select template file window. Now depending on the installation options you chose when you installed revvit, you may see slightly different items in this folder or it might take you to a different folder. In my case, it took me to the imperial units folder, I'm going to go up one step, then go into my English folder here and that gives me access to all of my metric family templates. So as I say, yours might look slightly different. Now you can kind of page through these and if you look at the preview windows over on the right, you can see that there are quite a bit of variation between the various templates.
