Designating future work

- [Instructor] In this video, I want to talk about designating future work. Now the Revit phasing tool set allows us to display existing construction and new construction, demolition and temporary. And it does those all just fine but there really isn't a built in way for us to display things that are taking place in the future. So even though phasing is about time and we do place all of our phases on a timeline, the phases that happen after the current phase are not available to us using the phasing tool set. Well, if you're clever, there are some workarounds that you can employ to kind of overcome that limitation. And so I'd like to share some of that with you here. So let's do a simple example. North of the existing wing of the building right up in this general location, let's say that we're considering a future edition. It's not part of the current contract, but we want to show it as a possibility here on this document set.…
