- [Instructor] Now that we have our floors added in, the next thing that I'd like to do is draw our deck off the back of our house. Now a deck is technically also a floor so we're still going through the process of drawing floors here on our project. Now that deck will be up at the first floor level. So underneath the project browser where we have our floor plans, I'd like to go to first floor. Zoom out a little just by spinning the wheel of the mouse, then zoom in here toward this side of our building. Now the first thing that I know is that I want this floor to be drawn at a location which is one foot away from the outside edge of our building. So to accomplish that, I'm going to come up here to the architecture tab. Then I'm going to select on floor. Now the kind of floor that I want will not be a floor VCT, it will be this deck and as you can see the deck actually has a combination of the structural member as well as the actual decking material built into it.
