- [Instructor] In chapter 503, we're going to take a little look at line thickness, and the way in which Revit deals with it. Line thickness is important in any type of drawing, it establishes a hierarchy, and gives a prominence to certain things over others. Traditionally things that have been cut through, tend to have a thicker outline, than things that are just merely in projection. And you can see if I zoom in a bit, you can see that some of these lines, are thicker than others, and that's simply because we haven't toggled this one. Thin lines, or TL which is the keyboard shortcut, if we just turn that on. This is often the way in which people will model, so the line thicknesses don't necessarily get in the way. But then, it's always worth checking, how they're going to be represented when you print them out. So I'll just leave that turned on.
