Forming the wall openings
- [Instructor] In this lesson, we're just going to have a little run through of all the, sort of openings that I've created in the walls. They are slightly different, depending on the situation. So we'll start off with these things, the windows. If you've got a window or a door, there's a proper window or a door family, it forms it's own opening. Just by the very fact of putting it in the wall. This door is another situation, where it'll just form its own opening. So that's those bits covered. Same with the roof windows. They'll just form an opening into the roof. Situations like this, ask for a different solution. This is a curtain wall, 'cause I couldn't find a window that was going to like this. So I make my own, based on the curtain wall family, and then by editing the mullions and the curtain panels, I can create all different sorts of shapes, and it works really well.
