- [Instructor] If you're using imported or linked CAD files in Revit there's a few tips that I'd like to share with you to kind of make that workflow a little bit easier. So the first thing I want to talk about is how to manage visibility. So, CAD files are organized into layers typically and when you bring the file in you do get an opportunity to decide which layers come in, but after that sometimes you want to actually manipulate those layers. Maybe you want to turn some on or off or change the way they display. There's a couple ways to do that. The first way to do it is with the Query button. And if I click on that what this allows me to do is sort of reach right into the CAD file and touch a layer and it will tell me what kind of object it is and what layer that object is on. So in this case, A-Detail-Fine for example. Now at the bottom of the dialogue are two buttons here. One of them is hide in view and if I click that, you're going to see all that line work disappear in this…
