Managing links
- [Instructor] In this video, I want to talk about managing links in the managed links dialog. So when you have linked files, there's a variety of things you might want to do to them, and much of this will take place in the managed links dialog. So the first example I want to show you is what happens when you open a file and it can't find the links, so I'm going to open a file here called managing links. And the first thing it will do is display this unresolved references message. And the problem is that one of its linked files can't be found. So when you link to a file, it relies on the location to that file remaining intact, and if the file is not found in that location anymore, then it will display this warning. Now you could ignore the warning and keep going, but since we want to talk about managing links in this video, I think choosing the first option is a little more appropriate.
