Mirroring groups to create a layout

- [Instructor] In this video I'm going to duplicate a group to create an overall floor plan layout. And that's one of the places where groups really shine is that you can create the typical conditions that are required and then kind of copy and duplicate them around and make a more complete floor plate. So in this example I will use my two bedroom condominium group right here. So I'm going to select that. Make sure I'm selecting the modeled group not the detailed group. And then I'm going to use the mirror commands which have a built in copy function. So there's two mirror commands. The first one is here, Mirror - Pick Axis. And we'll start with that and then notice that the default behavior is to make a copy. Now what this is going to ask us to do is to select the axis of reflection. And if you look down at the status bar you can see that. So all we need to do is select some object on screen that we want to use as that axis. And I'll pick this top wall up here.
