Modifying foundation walls
- [Instructor] Once we've drawn the basic foundation walls in the next step that we need to do is modify these foundational walls so that they're appropriate to hold up the building up above as well as have the right materials associated with them. The first thing that I want to do, is that if you've drawn your foundation walls the same way that I drew my foundation walls, you'll see this odd little indentation here at the bottom of your foundation walls. Well if you click on any of the foundation walls, you'll see that these foundation walls have a base extension of negative one foot eight inches associated with them, and that's probably not what we want to have. That's actually a carry over from the foundation walls that we had up above here. So what we want to do is actually remove that base extension from these foundation walls. To accomplish that, do not click on this foundation wall, instead, just touch one of the foundation walls so that it highlights blue. Then select, or…
