Placing interior structural columns and footings

- [Instructor] Now let's put some columns down in our basement area. In our basement floor plan, let's start by zooming in to the upper left-hand side of our building. Now, I happen to know that the first column needs to be about six feet down from the edge of this wall. I also know that it needs to be 10 feet over from the edge of this wall, so what I plan on doing is selecting on the Annotate tab, come here to the Detail Line, selecting on the face of the structural part of the wall, which is concrete, and then just coming down six feet. Then, the next thing I want to do is just draw a line that goes over and it doesn't matter exactly how far over 'cause we can make that adjustment later. Next, I want to draw a line from here over 10 feet. So I'll select on the detail line, click here, draw over and this will be 10 foot over in this direction. And I'll draw a line that goes straight up. Next, I'll click on this line, hold my mouse button down on that little blue dot that showed up…
