Setting up option sets and options
- [Instructor] When you're ready to start using design options, there's some simple basic setup that you'll need to do first. So, in this video, we're going to look at creating an option set and a couple options within it. Now, I would just want to remind you, if you didn't watch the previous video that if you're using Revit LT, you do need to go to the file menu and choose options and enable your design options in order to continue. In the full version of Revit that is not necessary, design options are enabled all the time. Okay, so let's get started with creating a new option set and two options within it. Let's say that the client came to us and asked us to consider something different for these railings right here. So I'm going to go to the manage tab and there's two places we can get to the design options tools. One is here on manage on the design options panel and the other is down here on the status bar right here.…
